Chris Wright
Background
I have over 30 years of football playing and coaching experience. I am a product of Nottingham Forest FC Academy and played multiple seasons as a Semi-Professional footballer in England before moving to America at age twenty-two. During my 19 years in America, I have held and performed a variety of positions: Academy Coach, Academy Director, Technical Director, Head College Coach, Assistant College Coach and Director of Soccer Operations.
As a youth soccer coach, I worked with male and female players aged 5 to 19. My most recent role was Girls Academy Director, where I coached five Youth International female players who participated in the U17 FIFA World Cups and U15 / U17 CONCACAF Championships. In addition, I have helped more than 150 players obtain NCAA college scholarships. My youth coaching achievements include two league titles, one National Championship, and consistent qualification for National Tournaments & Playoffs. As a college coach and Director of Soccer Operations, I worked with male and female players aged 18 to 24 over nine consecutive years.
As a personal trainer, I work with individuals and small groups to develop elite sessions focusing on technical proficiency within a high-intensity and fast-paced environment.
In America, I have worked with players of all ages and levels. Players who attend my individual and Series training sessions participate on the following platforms: MLSNext, ECNL & GA.
In England, I have delivered individual coaching sessions to male and female players from Nottingham Forest Youth Academy, Leicester City Youth Academy, Notts County Youth Academy and Derby County Youth Academy.
